Don't get me wrong, they were all fairly good today, but a week out of school seems a little excessive, and with schools already closed tomorrow and snow expected for Wednesday who knows when they will get to go back. It's bad when they are asking to go back.
We still have a lot of snow on the ground and on the side roads.
Last Wednesday we (and by we, I mean Mr. Vargas) got our van stuck down the road from our house, but not only was it stuck in knee deep snow, the transmission also decided that was a perfect time to go out. So there it sat, smack dab in the middle of the street, until today when the tow truck could get to it and take it to the transmission place.
But here is the real problem the van was our only vehicle that will hold all of us, and since I was going out of town this last weekend Mr. Vargas needed someway of getting the kids around, especially in case of emergency. So my wonderful Mother-in-Law stepped up and offered to let us use her '93 Chevy Caprice wagon. You know the ones with the seat in the very back that faces backwards.
SO a big THANK YOU to Grandma Dian!
The kids love it.
And this is what kind of pictures you get when you try and take a picture in the dark with a flash.
Oh and these guys actually LOVED riding in the very back,
what they did not love was the blinding flash.
