    The first year I was married my husband and I decided not to do Valentines Day gifts. Of course I got him one anyways. When the day came I gave him his present and card and he gave me...... NOTHING! I was a little upset that he didn't at least get me a card. That evening as we were getting ready for bed, I was a little grumpy, and he asked what was wrong. I told him that at least he could've given me a card.
    He then proceeded to reach behind my pillow and pulled out a card and a Tiffany box. Inside was a beautiful bracelet, which I loved. But my favorite thing about it was that he had to order it in advance. It made
    me happy that he had spent time and effort planning my gift!

    I'll have to go the favorite thing route Chimney Sweep- Heather Grey and Black slippers (because I can't remember ever getting a valentines gift. :)) My husband scrapbooked a card once...if you call that a gift, that'd be it. But once we got married, those days were over... :)

    My favorite thing that Jenny makes is the hat she's going to make for Ayla! And also the little scrubbies she makes for me. Her slippers are really cute, though, and with our new hardwood floors, I need new slippers.

    My favorite Valentines Day gift was 2007. Our 2nd v-day. I got engaged (well we celebrated on the 17th that year and so that was the engagement date). It was, in hindsight, pretty funny how everything worked out. But we had never discussed getting married or discussed even jokingly "one day marriage" stuff so I knew that he was asking me because he loved me and genuinely wanted to marry me! That was the best!!!
