A GREAT DAY!

Ladies and Gentlemen today for a very special start to Valentine’s week, I present to you a guest blogger.

Wow what an amazing day.


First I had 25 kids in Children’s church this morning than after church we went to the Wheelock house for a delicious lunch of pasta with meat balls and Italian sausage. After lunch we decided to take advantage of the warm weather and the snow still hanging around from SnOklahoma 2011 and go sledding down the big hill in the backyard after a couple of hours and 9 wet kids and 5 wet adults we called it a day at the Wheelock house. I must tell you that I have been looking forward to today for a while now. My favorite band “LESS THAN JAKE” Came to play at the Marquee tonight and let me tell you they did not disappoint. I haven’t seen them live since the last time they were in OK 4 years ago. It was certainly awesome to be able to go to a show and know every word to every song they played. I was just as excited to have Mrs. Vargas join me at the show too. This was exciting because she generally doesn’t enjoy concerts as much as I do, but I think she had a good time.


All in all we had a wonderful busy day that I won’t forget for a very long time.

I did indeed have a GREAT time. We also went to Fat Guys Burgers for the first time and it also did not disappoint and is highly recommended by both Mr. and Mrs. Vargas.
