A tale of two princesses

I got to hang out with not one but two princesses today, oh and I can’t leave out two princes as well.

After a fun twin playdate where there were 4 sets of Identical girl twins and 2 sets of Identical boys (mine included), we came home and the girls played dress up and the boys watched. I think Avrah was glad to have another little girl to play with. Here are the little princesses all dressed up.

Avrah is Ariel and Y(pronounced E)* is Cinderella and Hosea is trying to be sneaky

No brothers allowed please

And here are their princess poses

* I didn't want to put her whole name as she is not mine and you know privacy and what not.

On a side note, I have been having a blog war with my sister. She writes an awesome blog that you can go read here. We are racing to 3000 views. It really is just silly sibling rivalry and all in good fun, and we are really just trying to drive more traffic to our blogs, for who knows what reason really.
I apologize if we have annoyed you on facebook. I'll let you know who wins, probably her.

offering suggestions

Here is a blog I recently discovered that I absolutely love.

http://andersonfamilycrew.blogspot.com/

I’m not sure from whose blog I followed to get to it, or would it make more sense to say, I’m not sure where I found it? Well anyway you get the point.

She has beautiful children and she photographs them awesomely- for lack of a better word. I want to know why the pictures I take don’t come out half as good. Well actually I know why a) I do not have the right kind of camera b) I am not an artist/photographer. Which I am sure is why she has so many followers as well. Oh and speaking of followers if you are reading this on facebook, if you could just pop on over to my blog - click here- and do me a big gee golly favor by following me. Why? Oh I don’t know really, I just like to see who is reading it, makes me feel good as a “writer” to know that there is someone besides my loving husband who is reading these and thinks I should continue, even when I do nothing but talk about other people’s blogs.

Oh and to my faithful readers and comment posters, Thank You, you make my day. I live for the comments on my blogs…well ok “live for” may be a little extreme, but they make my day, and since I love reading comments on my blogs I have been trying really hard to put a comment on each blog that I read too. Because even though I feel foolish typing in my “I agree with you” or “OH wow that is so cleaver of you and cute” or whatever it is that I feel appropriate to tell the person that I have read their blog and it has entertained me in some way, I hope that maybe it might make their day, like some of your comments, dear reader, make my day.

So in short, read my blog, follow my blog and comment on my blog. Yes I am needy!

Avrah's dream

Avrah-
"Mom, I had a funny dream last night."
Me-
"Oh yeah, what was it about?"
Avrah-
"You gave the dog my juice, and gave me water"

So that is what 3 year olds dream of.

Lion/lamb

“March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. That’s what the old folks say anyway” – Josiah

Well I hope so. Not that today was lion-like weather wise, but let’s just say it wasn’t the best day ever either. I wasn’t overly busy nor under productive. But for some reason today I just felt like a big bag of blah! So while I don’t want to bring you down by the dark storm clouds that sometimes form, I also don’t want to be dishonest with you and paint my life as a pretty picture where there are always sunny times and smiles. I suppose it is all in what you are looking for, I’m sure if I examine my day I could come up with a couple of funny stories for you, like when I was sorting laundry this morning and the babies where playing in the dog water and got everything soaking wet, or how I was going over Judah’s spelling list with him and Avrah was trying to read a little book to me and she said “what is this one’s name” at about the same time I was telling Judah his next word which was “rewrite” and she thought I was talking to her so she started calling that character rewrite.

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it hundred times. Tomorrow is a new day, a fresh start, a new chance to make things better.

Oh and another plus is that I am now done with my government class and I think my final grade should be a 95%, not too bad.

I’ve got a date with Jillian in the morning, which I missed this morning so she will probably be even more hateful than usual.

What?

I’m too tired to blog tonight, my brain is not working. I just wrote out what should have been a really funny story, but it was not funny. I know this because Jeremy told me so. So I will tell it to you another day when my brain isn’t fried from no sleep and too much school work. I did write my last essay for my government class and can probably tell you how a bill becomes a law.

Settlers with friends

Have you ever played "settlers of catan"?
Do you have a couple hours to kill?
We played it tonight with some new friends.
It was way more fun than I would have thought.
