Miss me much?

Hey There!

I’m back. Did you miss me? I know you did. So much has been going on here. I have so much to share with you, here are a few things that have been going on. I’ll just jump right in with today though.

Tonight while making dinner Avrah comes in the kitchen and we had the following conversation.

Avrah: What are you making for dinner?

Me: Soup.**recipe to follow**

Avrah: I don’t like soup.

Me: I think you should try it before you decide you don’t like it.

Avrah: I did have octopus soup once. I liked it. I do like soup.

To Avrah’s future husband/boyfriend, I am sorry.

Last night

We were hanging out watching Phineas and Ferb, and since the babies don’t really watch TV they were running around playing. Now when they hurt someone, on purpose or accident I make them stop and hug that person to say that they are sorry (since they don’t have the words yet)—this is awkward if we don’t know the other person, but last night one of them had pushed the other and made him cry so I made the other one give him a hug, this usually lasts a couple seconds, but they got distracted by the show and just stood there hugging each other here is a pic of that cuteness.

And here are some pics of them in their new to them towels

Micah is a giraffe Hosea is a crocodile

Last week the kid’s school had a health and wellness fair. The Biggest Loser winner from last season was Danny, he lives in our neighborhood and his kids go to school with the boys, so he was there to talk and I took a picture of him.

***Recipe***

5 out of 5 kid rating. I thought it was yummy too.

Asian Steak and Veggie soup

2lbs Chuck steak, cut into thin strips
1 T oil
½ cup finely chopped onion
2 packs of chicken ramen noodles
½ bag angel hair coleslaw (I left this out)
16 oz bag frozen stir fry veggies
1-2 T soy sauce.

Heat oil in deep pot, sauté onions until clear. Add steak strips and cook quickly. Take out with slotted spoon and set aside (I left it in to cook, as I didn’t have the slaw to add to it) Crush ramen noodles while in bag. Prepare noodles as directed (in separate pot). Pour noodles and broth into pot on med-hi heat. Add Cabbage and frozen veggies. Cook 5 min. Add meat and soy sauce to taste. Serve in bowls.
