Where have You been?

Today when coming out of the gym we heard a goose honking, this is not uncommon as there are usually a few geese around, we usually try to avoid them and they stay away from us, but this one was really close and so we looked to see what it was honking at. It was another goose up on the roof, and as we looked closer we saw a little yellow gosling walk up next to the goose and then another and another. We stood there and watched them for a minute trying to figure out how all those babies got up there. I'm no bird expert, but I don't think they learn to fly until they are a little bit older.. I think that the mama goose built her nest and laid her eggs up there, and now they will have to wait until they are a little bigger to learn how to fly to get down.. I may be really wrong, so if you are a bird expert and you do know then you can let me know.

Some fun things that have been going on since I last blogged.
Mr. Vargas has started a new job. He is now using his degree that he is about to finish this semester. He is the systems administrator for ITT tech. He loves it. We are still getting used to his new hours, I think they will be much better suited for summer which is just around the corner and that makes me very happy!

I also started a new job. I am now working two days a week up at my little guys' school. I really enjoy it but I do miss my me time, now I only have one morning a week to  get done all the stuff I used to have three mornings to do.

My math class is winding down and I should be finished with it this week.

This morning I ran again for the first time since my surgery, I can not tell you how great it felt.

Another new development. Hosea is potty training. He is doing so great, he stays dry most days, Micah on the other hand only thinks he is potty training, but he really isn't ready, sometimes he will say he needs to go only to sit there, seriously two seconds and then say he is finished, I'm not rushing him.

It has also been raining a lot here lately, so if any of you do see the sun please wave at it for me and tell it to come back because I miss it. Thanks

some rain and hail from the other day.. my back yard is now a swamp

  2. We had something similar happen at an office where I used to work. A mama duck laid her eggs in a nest up high and she had to wait until the babies were old enough to fly in order to get them down. It was fascinating to watch. :)
Glad you got to run (and that you're back...and for all the good news!) :)
